Assam Harmutty Estate TGFOP black tea is of the highest quality, taste and aroma that we at The Blending Room have yet tasted. The Harmutty Estate in the Brahmaptura Valley of North East India posses perfect conditions for growing Assam teas, where the high precipitation levels and all year round high temperatures aide the production of this particular Assam black tea.
As per many Indian Assam black tea's, there is a lively, yet malty aroma and taste along with a perfect dark red colouration in the cup. This is an ideal black tea to drink at breakfast or in the afternoon, with or without milk and sugar. This is certainly a "classic" Assam tea with one of the highest available grading for leaf tea, Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe.
