Brazil Daterra Yellow Bourbon

£2.75

Brazil is synonymous with coffee and is the world's largest producer of coffee beans. It is said that  nearly 90% of the cups of coffee consumed worldwide will have a Brazilian beans amongst the blend. It's for this reason however, that Brazil had a reputation for outputting large volumes of low quality arabicas and robustas, perfect for the 'blending' markets. Over recent years there has been a change in emphasis, whereby farmers now pay more attention to more 'unique' crops, that are best suited to the gourmet coffee markets.

Our Brazil Yellow Bourbon is produced in the Minas Gerais region of Brazil. The cherry of Yellow Bourbons are bright yellow when fully ripe; the cup is very bright and sweet with nutty flavours. Brazil Yellow Bourbon has a growing altitude of 3500 to 3800 feet where precipitation is between 1,800 and 2,000mm per year with an average temperature of 19ºC - perfect conditions for growing speciality coffee.

This is a perfect everyday speciality coffee that has buckets of sweetness medium-heavy body, nutty chocolates but interestingly high citrus notes.
