Situated 3000 feet above sea level, the Uva region of Sri Lanka produces very distinct teas, all of which are remarkably different to other Ceylon teas. Our Ceylon Uva OP1 is slightly sharp in flavour, possibly a touch astringent but balanced by intense floral notes and finished by a pleasant golden cup colour. The Uva OP1 leaf grade is unique to Ceylon, Sri Lanka meaning a well twisted large leaf, similar to FOP.
