Colombian Medellin Excelso is grown in the second largest coffee producing country after Brazil, Colombia. Many of the plantations here are small peasant holdings where the beans are carefully picked and wet processed. Set in the foothills of the Andes, Colombia has a temperate and moist climate that is indicative of producing well-balanced Arabica coffee.
Colombia Medellin Excelso is grown in the Central Cordillera and distributed through the town of Medellin, hence its Medellin Excelso name.
This is a superb coffee suitable for everyday drinking, light in acidity, slightly nutty with a hint of wine aroma.
