English Breakfast Tea is the most widely drunk blend of black tea within the UK. Originally created to accompany the hearty English breakfast menus of the late 1800's, English Breakfast Tea has never been more popular than it is today.
Traditionally, Indian, Sri Lankan, African and Chinese black teas were blended together to produce this bold drink. Our Deluxe English Breakfast tea contains Assam, Ceylon and a balanced proportion of Chinese Keemun, giving the tea a bold, bright aroma and taste.
English Breakfast tea can be drunk at any time of the day, not just at breakfast and performs excellently if accompanied by milk or sugar.
