Sencha Fukuyu is grown exclusively on the slopes of Mount Fuji, where half of the Japanese tea production originates from. This Sencha Fukuyu is harvested during the autumn months, graded, then carefully steamed before hand rolling and drying occurs. The careful steaming process helps Sencha Fukuyu develop its fine fragrant notes and light olive-green infusion.
Sencha Fukuyu is certainly a fragrant tea but also possesses strong, lingering notes on the palate which makes it perfectly suited for those who enjoy a "stronger" tasting green tea.
