Special Afternoon Blend black leaf tea is a traditional balance of light flavours and aromas enhanced by tea varieties such as Darjeeling and Chinese Keemun. Special Afternoon Blend black tea has a slightly different mix of teas which include: Darjeeling and Lapsang Souchong. The Darjeeling offers a beautiful light undertone that is smooth and elegant on the palette, whilst the Lapsang Souchong brings a lovely smoky touch to this fine Afternoon Blend.

With the inclusion of Lapsang Souchong, Special Afternoon Blend black leaf tea can be drunk at any time of the day, contrary to what its name suggests. This tea makes an excellent accompaniment to both sweet and savoury tea-time foods.
