Roast Policy

We believe our coffee tastes best at least 7 days from roast date.

To ensure that we display our coffee at its best, orders will be dispatched using stock roasted within a maximum of 7 days prior to the order being placed.

You may receive coffee roasted on the day of your order being placed. If so, we strongly recommend resting this coffee for 7 days before opening.

The Blending Room operates in this way to ensure you taste the coffee the way we do in the Roastery, without having to wait for the following weeks production schedule.

Your Account

If you use The Blending Room, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account, password and for restricting access to your computer to prevent unauthorised access to your account. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You should take all necessary steps to ensure that your password is kept confidential and secure and should inform us immediately if you have any reason to believe that your password has become known to anyone else, or if the password is being, or is likely to be, used in an unauthorised manner.

Please ensure that the details you provide us with are correct and complete and inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering. You can access and update much of the information you provided us with in the Your Account area of the website.

Terms of Order

When you place an order to purchase a product from The Blending Room, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we send e-mail confirmation to you that we have dispatched that product to you (the “Dispatch Confirmation E-mail”). That acceptance will be complete at the time we send the Dispatch Confirmation e-mail to you. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed in a Dispatch Confirmation E-mail to have been dispatched do not form part of that contract.

Payment Methods

The Blending Room take credit card orders from most major credit cards. The Blending Room will never see or store your credit card details as all of our transactions are processed through PayPal and Stripe using their secure encrypted server. We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.


We currently roast on Monday, Tuesday. We believe our coffee tastes best at least 7 days from roast date. All orders are dispatched using Royal Mail First Class, Royal Mail Second Class or DPD Local with proof of posting certificates retained. We are dependant on the service Royal Mail and DPD offer, but expect first class to arrive within 1 – 2 working days and other methods within 1 – 5 days.

DPD Local Courier Service: A confirmation email will be sent once the order has been dispatched. DPD Local will provide you with an email and text service to notify you when your parcel will be delivered.

Our shipping costs are calculated by the weight and dimensions of your basket contents.

You have a right under the UK Distance Selling Regulations to cancel the contract for purchase within seven working days of delivery. Please be aware that you will be responsible for the postage on returned items unless the product is found to be faulty or it was not ordered. We suggest you use a delivery method which requires signature on receipt.

Returns Policy

Returned goods must be undamaged and unused and in the same condition in which they were delivered, including all packaging. We regret that we are unable to accept returns on food products if the packaging has been opened or tampered with in any way unless the product is of unsatisfactory quality.

When returning goods please include your name and address, invoice number, date goods received and the reason for the return. We will refund any payments as quickly as we can but certainly within 30 days. If the product is found to be faulty or one which you did not order we will refund in full, including any postage costs which you incurred in returning it to us.

If you feel that items in your order are unsatisfactory, that we have made a mistake or have any other complaint, then please feel free to contact us using our Contact Us page, where we will endeavour to solve the problem.

A response to all complaints will be issued within one working day (usually the same day) and our aim is to resolve all complaints within two working days. Any customer details passed to us are kept confidential and you will be kept informed of the complaint process.
