This coffee from Jacinto Lopez formed our 2021 Festive Coffee. Expect a candied orange acidity that leads into a golden rum character and long chocolate finish.
The Guatemalan coffee is grown by Jacinto Lopez who has 3 hectares of land in the El Pajal village in San Antonio Huista. Hi farm is planted with mostly caturra, but he also grows pache, bourbon and typica cultivars. Jacinto picks most of the cherries himself with some help from extended family members. Once picked the coffee is processed and dried at his family home. Jacinto is a member of the ACODIHUE cooperative and is the leader in his community, supporting the cooperative to recruit more members and train farmers in growing high quality coffee.
Thank you for all your support this year. It means the world to us to provide you with delicious coffee! Best wishes for the holiday season and year beyond, team BlendingRoom :)
