The Chiri Coffee Washing Station, managed by Zablon Trading Plc, is located in the Sidama Region, East Sidama Zone, Cheri Wereda, Hora Ela Kebele, sitting at an altitude of 1900m–2200m. The station was established in 2014 on 2 hectares of land Chiri Coffee Washing Station employs 5 permanent workers, 3 seasonal employees, and 125 temporary laborers, who contribute to the meticulous processing of coffee cherries. The station collaborates with 1,125 farmers, who cultivate coffee varieties such as 7454, 74110, 74440, and 74127. To support local farmers, the station provides coffee seedlings, financial assistance, and premium payments based on coffee deliveries. These initiatives are designed to improve the livelihood of coffee growers and encourage sustainable farming practices.
