Future development of our subscription offering

With the recent release of our new website, a few questions have come my way that I thought I would address in a broader explanation to everyone.

Currently the coffee subscriptions are set up to be roast, post and received on or just after the first of every month. This means that a subscription purchase made on any day within the current month will be pooled and shipped to arrive with you on or just after the first of the following month. For example, if you bought a coffee subscription tomorrow, it will be shipped to you for the first of October. The coffee selection is a ‘Roaster’s Choice’ and therefore a surprise when it hits your doormat.

I intend on developing our subscription offering further and am working in the background to achieve more options and greater flexibility for you.

The idea being that you will be able to choose from three main groups of subscriptions - Core, Roaster’s Choice and Premium. Where Core will allow you to receive Jones, Docker, Brazil Pantano or a Decaf. Roaster’s Choice will remain a ‘mystery’ bag and Premium will give you access to some of the really exceptional coffees that I purchase.

The frequency of delivery will be expanded to allow you to receive your coffee on a weekly, bi-monthly or monthly basis in one or two bag volumes (to remain letterbox friendly). These will be roast, bagged and shipped every Wednesday to help us streamline the administration of your subscription and avoid mistakes (that I’m prone to).

I’ve a little way to go in the development of the above, but will be sure to let you know when we’re ready. At that point, you will be able to cancel, pause or adjust your subscription within your customer portal to take advantage of the changes.
